I am very interested in building a system using solar panels in order to generate my own free electricity. Hopefuly i will have some equipment within the next 4 to 6 months to do that and will be able to share my knowledge with everyone. Please feel free to talk about any projects that are related to green energy that you may be interested in or are considering setting up for yourselves. *

I know you can make Solar hot water and electricity panels yourself, buying equipment from a DIY store. You can make a Wind turbine with a fan, a car alternator and battery to store the power. *

You can also make free electricity using magnets. You make a ring of magnets with a gap missing. So when you put a magnet on top it doesnt have 2 poles, so it spins. Theres a Youtube demo of it if I can find it. *
